Christmas and Hanukkah in Montreal

Updated: Jan 13

This has a been a year of firsts, the hardest of which was my first Christmas without my parents. It seemed both impossibly sad, and in a very odd way hopeful. While both of my parents were strong traditionalists, they also recognized that traditions always start somewhere and naturally, over time, transform. This is where I have been, deciding that spending Christmas and Hanukkah in Montreal with Kati, Kelen and our dear friends Lynn and Dennis. Airbnb was a no brainer!

While I won't done on about how nice Montreal is (it is), and some of the amazing foods we had from real Montreal St Viateur bagels to amazing Portuguese and Japanese meals, and the sights of Notre Dame, Atwater Market, and so on. I will show some of the photos and fantastic memories I have, a new tradition?
